Hannah Boyce is a multi-discipline designer whose work has previously engaged in ideas about: domesticity, nature and the manmade, raw and natural materials. She has been interested in the contrast of these materials and their subject, exploring the boundaries between art and design and specifically playing with compositions and displays. Boyce’s work is often mixed media and experiments with illustration, print, textiles, sculpture and installation.

Alongside her projects Boyce has an enthusiasm for illustration, which can be seen in some of her installations. She often transfers pattern designs onto fabric as a contributing factor to the compositions. Many of the illustrations are highly detailed pen drawings influenced by travels and her imagination.
